I live in Winter Garden, Florida, and attended the University of Florida. I volunteered my tutoring skills at my kids' school for a while. Using my college focus on engineering, I obtained a certification to teach math in this state. I have been teaching mathematics at a local middle school ever since. Not only am I knowledgeable in middle school math, I can also help with algebra, geometry, and test prep. As a teacher, I have led my classes to achieving the best test scores in our county. When students are met with an instructor who gives them what they need to succeed, anything is possible. I am patient with those I teach and I am able to figure out where any hiccups are occurring in the learning process. This way, students can get back on the path to becoming adequately educated.Outside of the classroom, I like to garden and to be outside here in the beautiful Florida weather. I also enjoy being with my family, researching our genealogy, and reading books.
